The most important thing for anyone choosing a Tattoo Studio, before the Artist and the Image is hygiene.

We know that China's reputation for hygiene is terrible. But we are, what you might call, an oasis in the desert. We've researched meticulously to insure the best hygiene practices are performed in our studio.

We want standards. We want regulation. China has no standards for tattooing, therefore the industry's reputation is tarnished by a lack of regulation and education for tattoo artists.

But we're not kidding ourselves, the big guys have better things to do than regulate an industry that they have so far not even recognised. So we can't wait, but we can set the standard. We have raised the bar when it comes to hygiene in tattoo studios in China.

Please come down to our studio and ask us any questions you have on our hygiene practices. We are working hard to introduce a higher standard of hygiene into China's tattoo industry and would be delighted to answer any questions that you have.

We want you to trust us with your health. We never mess around with hygiene. We have adopted western standards, here are a list of guidelines that we follow to the letter in our Tattoo Parlor.

  1. Our studio is monitored by a medical advisor.
  2. ALL of our needles, ink tubes and ink tubs are disposable.
  3. We have an autoclave, it sterilizes any reusable equipment after every tattoo.
  4. Our seperate work room is cleaned before and after every tattoo.
  5. Both of our chairs are disinfected before and after every tattoo.
  6. Our work surfaces are cleaned before and after every tattoo
  7. We cover our work surface with a disposable medical cloth for every tattoo.
  8. After any disruption our artist uses a new set of disposable gloves.
  9. Our machines and cables are covered with disposable wraps during every tattoo.
  10. All areas of skin that will be tattooed are shaved, if so required, and then disinfected before every tattoo.
  11. We only use fresh ink on every customer.
  12. Our work room is a smoke free environment.
  13. We will never tattoo anyone who has been drinking or using drugs.
  14. People under the age of 18 years old will not be given a tattoo.
  15. Anyone with a visible skin infection will not be tattooed.
  16. We supply aftercare guidelines and ointment.
