1. How much does a tattoo cost?

How long is a piece of string? Each and every tattoo is different, as unique as the person wearing it. So, that makes it very difficult to give you a quote over the phone. First we need to design the tattoo according to your needs and personality, find out the position you'd like it on, assess the difficulty of the design and then we can give you a quote. The best way to get a quote is to fill out our Quick Quote Form.

2. Will you design a tattoo for me that I can get done somewhere else?

Right now we don't offer this service over email as we have no way of collecting payment. BUT if you'd like a tattoo design to take home, please call into the Shop to discuss what you're looking for.

3. Can I get a discount?

Repeat customers always get a discount. Coming back for your second / third / fourth tattoo always makes us happy! We know that you like our work and are satisfied with your tattoo, so when you’re happy, we’re happy and when we’re happy, we’re generous! Remember it’s never a good idea to negotiate with your tattoo artist!

4. Do you do henna or temporary tattoos?

No, we do the real thing only! But we can fix or retouch temporary tattoos that haven't been as temporary as advertised.

5. Can I clean off the tattoo later?

Short answer, yes. You will have to find a hospital that has a tattoo removal laser. BUT if you are already thinking about removing it, are you sure you want one?

6. Can you remove it for me?

Right now we don’t offer this service. What we can do is give you a cover up design. Although this limits the type of design you can have you will still end up with a much better tattoo. Check out some of our previous cover ups.

7. What do I have to do to look after the tattoo?

We can go through everything with you, we will supply you with an aftercare instructions sheet and we have everything you need in the shop so there's no need to run around Shanghai looking for ointment etc.

8. Will you tattoo my 17 year old kid?

Sorry, even if you give written consent we will not under any circumstances give someone under 18 a tattoo. If you find a studio that will give you one it's a sign of a desperate studio who needs your cash more than they need their reputation, and perhaps you should ask yourself why they are not busy enough with over 18's customers that they have to give children and teenagers tattoos.

9. What's the usual waiting time for a tattoo?

We are pretty busy, so the usual waiting time for a tattoo is around 2 weeks. You must make an appointment with us to get a tattoo. We do require a deposit of at least 300RMB to confirm a time, larger pieces require a larger deposit. The deposit comes out of the final price but it is not refundable.
