First we need to design the tattoo according to your needs and personality, find out the position you'd like it on, assess the difficulty of the design and then we can give you a quote.

We have 3 fulltime and 2 parttime artists so we should be able to look after you! Our head artist, Ting is booked up for around 2 months in advance. Xiao Zhang is booked around 1 month in advance. We can go through everything with you, we will supply you with an aftercare instructions sheet and we have everything you need in the shop so there's no need to run around Shanghai looking for ointment etc. We have both free and paid for options because we want to be sure that after we do our job that you can look after your tattoo well. If your tattoo loses color or color doesn't go in first time round we are happy to retouch your tattoo without charge. IF your tattoo loses color because of your negligence we will charge for the retouch. 

Short answer, yes. You will have to find a hospital that has a tattoo removal laser. The process can be very painful and expensive. Usually a reputable hospital (be sure that the operator is properly trained, tattoo studios in China won't be) will charge by the centimeter, this could cost anything from 800RMB to 1400RMB per cm!! You will have to sit through several sessions spaced around 6 weeks apart. So the best solution is to CHOOSE YOUR TATTOO WISELY OR DON'T GET ONE!

HELL NO! We are here to give you the perfect tattoo. If that means we have to turn away shitty ideas now and again we will. What we will do is cover or retouch your old tattoo, if you think that's completely necessary. But have you considered that your tattoo is a part of you? You get older, so does the tattoo. It should remind you of a time and a place in your life even if it was a stupid time and a stupid place, it represents who you were! 

Absolutely. You can now order a Tattoo Design through our website. If you would like a Chinese Character or Kanji tattoo you can send us the English and we'll translate it into Chinese for you. If you are looking for something unique our head artist Ting will use her amazing calligraphy skills to give you a one of a kind tattoo design. If kanji isn't your style you can also book us to design an authentic Chinese dragon / koi / demon / whatever for you to do at your local Tattoo Studio. 

Afraid not. Temporary tattoo ink isn't as temporary as advertised on the bottle, so be wary of studios that tell you it'll fade over time. Alot of the coverups we do are to fix and hide so called temporary tattoos. The Yellows and lighter colors may fade over time but greens, reds and blacks are not as willing to move on! 

Sorry, even if you give written consent we will not under any circumstances give someone under 18 a tattoo. If you find a studio that will give you one it's a sign of a desperate studio who needs your cash more than they need their reputation, and perhaps you should ask yourself why they are not busy enough with over 18's customers that they have to give teenagers tattoos.
