Could well be from the brush of a master. (If you want REAL calligraphy select first option on previous page)
For the traditionalists. (Not actual ancient Chinese, just styled)
For the revolutionaries!
When you have something to say, LOUD!
For a quiet word in their ear.
In general, every english word, once translated into chinese becomes 2 to 4 characters. Obviously we can't fit 50 characters onto the back of your hand, so please consider size and placing. Anyway, if we don't think something is going to fit, we'll get in touch with you as soon as we've translated your text to discuss other options with you.
*In chinese 250 (er bai wu 二百五) means stupid, so we'll knock off a dollar for you so as not to insult your intelligence! ;)
Chinese can be written either horizontally, read left to right, top to bottom OR vertically, read top to bottom, right to left. Consider which one would suit the space or shape of the location you want your tattoo. Forearm might suit Horizontal and Vertical, while ribs only vertical would look good, horizontal would look good on the chest or going across the back.
Pretty self-explanatory. Traditional Characters are the older form of Chinese characters. They are more complicated than their modern versions, with many more strokes per symbol. They are still used in Hong kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Around 1949 mainland China began on a course of simplifying characters on a drive to improve literacy, it worked!
Ting, our head artist, will record an MP3 of your text, so you can learn how to say it.
We can mail the original hand painted design to you.
